Google Launches AI Plus Plan in Pakistan at Affordable Price

ISLAMABAD – Google has rolled out its much-anticipated AI Plus Plan in Pakistan, introducing advanced artificial intelligence tools to local users at a price point designed to encourage widespread adoption.

The subscription plan promises to unlock new creative possibilities by bringing Google’s most powerful AI models directly into everyday applications. Users in Pakistan will now have access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, the company’s latest and most sophisticated model for handling complex queries, along with enhanced image generation and editing features through the Gemini app. The package also includes access to Veo 3 Fast, a video generation model available across Gemini, Whisk, and Flow.

Beyond AI capabilities, the plan integrates seamlessly into Google’s ecosystem. Subscribers will see Gemini built into Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and other Google services, supported by 200 GB of cloud storage across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail.

Farhan Qureshi, Google Pakistan’s Country Director, highlighted the significance of the launch:

“Pakistan’s digital landscape is evolving rapidly, and we are encouraged by how quickly Pakistanis are embracing AI tools. With AI Plus, we’re making these technologies more accessible to fuel creativity, productivity, and learning nationwide.”

The plan also caters to families, allowing up to five additional members to share the same subscription from AI features in Gemini to expanded cloud storage.

Google has set the monthly subscription at PKR 1,400, but in a special promotional offer, new users will receive a 50% discount for the first six months.

Industry observers note that this move underscores Google’s long-term commitment to Pakistan’s digital economy, positioning the country’s users at the forefront of AI adoption. By bundling advanced tools at an affordable price, the AI Plus Plan aims to empower individuals, families, and businesses to tap into the next wave of digital innovation.
