An 18-year-old domestic worker ended his life by shooting himself inside a residence in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on Wednesday.
According to SHO Sahil, Shahid Taj, the deceased, identified as Abid Mujahid, used the house owner’s pistol to take his own life.
The officer, citing the victim’s cousin, said that Abid had been deeply distressed and had repeatedly expressed his intention to take his life using his employer’s weapon.
The body was transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for legal and medical procedures.
