More widespread rainfall is anticipated on Friday night into Saturday (July 19), particularly in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas, Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Sanghar, Thatta, Sujawal, and Badin, where thunderstorm activity is also likely.

According to a WASA (Water and Sanitation Agency) spokesperson, the agency has formally requested assistance from the Pakistan Army’s 111 Brigade, with army personnel on standby in case the situation worsens.

The situation around Nullah Leh remains tense, with the water level rising by 22 feet. Authorities have issued evacuation orders, and emergency sirens were sounded in low-lying areas on Thursday morning.
