Pakistani Himalayan Pink Salt Soap Wins Global Innovation Award in Belgium

BRUSSELS — A unique soap made with Pakistan’s Himalayan pink salt has earned top honors at the Global Innovation Award in Belgium, highlighting the growing international demand for the country’s natural resources.

The award-winning product, developed in Brazil using Pakistani salt, was showcased at the Women AgroTech Summit in Brussels, where it drew praise from industry experts and international investors.

Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Jam Kamal welcomed the recognition, saying the achievement underscored the country’s potential in the global marketplace. “Himalayan pink salt is Pakistan’s natural treasure, and this award is proof of its rising significance worldwide,” he remarked.

The minister noted that Pakistan’s collaboration with Brazil was producing world-class products that are helping the country build its image abroad. He added that the award served not only as a recognition of Pakistan’s resources but also as a gateway to greater trade opportunities.
