Online Drug Delivery Ring Busted in Karachi; Two Suspects Held

KARACHI: Police in Karachi have uncovered yet another online drug delivery network, arresting two suspects and seizing over one kilogram of narcotics during the operation.

According to officials, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and CIA police acted on intelligence reports and apprehended two men accused of running the illegal business. The suspects, identified as Abdul Ghani and Zeeshan, were taken into custody from the Predi and Shah Latif Town areas.

SSP SIU Amjad Ahmed Sheikh confirmed that police recovered a large quantity of narcotics, including ice, crystal meth, and heroin. He said initial findings suggest the men sourced the drugs from Hub and Winder before distributing them across Karachi.

Investigators revealed that the group was using an online system to coordinate deliveries. Customers were asked to share their location and make advance payments, after which the drugs were dropped off at designated spots.

A case has been registered against the suspects, while police continue their probe to trace the wider network behind the operation.
