NADRA to Open Three New Mega Centers in Karachi by 2026

KARACHI — The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced plans to open three new mega centers in Karachi by March 2026, aiming to ease the process of registration and related services for citizens.

The announcement was made by NADRA’s Director General Sindh, Aamir Ali Khan, during a ceremony at Karachi University. He revealed that the new mega centers will be set up in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulberg, and Surjani Town, expanding the authority’s footprint in the city.

“NADRA has always strived to provide maximum facilities to the public and to address their concerns through the use of technology,” Khan said. He added that the authority’s efforts are focused on making services more accessible, particularly through digital solutions.

He highlighted the success of the Pak ID mobile application, which now allows citizens to access many of NADRA’s services directly from their homes, saving both time and effort.

Khan also emphasized the role of students and young people in spreading awareness about NADRA’s expanding digital services, noting that greater public engagement will ensure smoother implementation of upcoming initiatives.

The move comes as part of NADRA’s broader effort to modernize and decentralize its services, reducing overcrowding at existing centers and improving efficiency for millions of citizens in Karachi.
