ISLAMABAD –
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held an important meeting on Thursday with Ricky Gill, a senior aide to former US President Donald Trump, at Zardari House in Islamabad.
The meeting, which also included US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker and First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, centered on a range of key issues, including regional security, strengthening bilateral relations, trade cooperation, and diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and the United States.
During the conversation, Bilawal thanked President Trump for his role in helping to defuse recent tensions between India and Pakistan — a gesture he described as “decisive” in maintaining regional stability.
According to sources close to the meeting, both sides expressed a mutual desire to deepen cooperation on shared interests, particularly in areas that can contribute to long-term peace and economic development in the region.
