Big News for Pakistanis Seeking Jobs in Qatar

Islamabad, September 26, 2025 – In a significant development for overseas employment opportunities, Qatari Ambassador to Pakistan, Ali Mubarak Ali Isa Al-Khater, has expressed his country’s intention to increase the intake of Pakistani skilled workers.

The remarks came during a meeting with Federal Minister for Water Resources, Muhammad Moin Wattoo, where a wide range of issues including bilateral ties, regional stability, and workforce opportunities were discussed.

During the meeting, Minister Wattoo extended condolences to Qatar over the recent Israeli attack and conveyed the solidarity and best wishes of the Pakistani government and its people. He emphasized the historic bond of friendship and respect between Pakistan and Qatar, while also reaffirming Islamabad’s consistent support for Muslim unity.

The minister further welcomed the decision by several European nations to formally recognize Palestine, calling it an essential step towards justice and durable peace in the Middle East. He also highlighted the resilience and resolve of Pakistan’s leadership, noting the country’s strong response during recent tensions with India.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Khater praised the role of Pakistani professionals and laborers in Qatar’s growth and development. He acknowledged the increasing demand for skilled Pakistani workers and conveyed Doha’s willingness to expand opportunities for them in the near future. The ambassador also lauded Pakistan’s natural resources and assured that Qatar would continue to explore avenues for broader cooperation.

Concluding the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral relations, enhancing cooperation in multiple sectors, and creating new opportunities for people-to-people exchanges.
