ISLAMABAD – Ookla, the global company best known for its Speedtest platform, has unveiled its latest rankings of mobile and broadband internet providers, including an updated look at Pakistan’s telecom sector.
The half-yearly report, covering January to June 2025 (H1 2025), evaluates internet service providers (ISPs) using millions of real-world tests initiated by consumers across the country. These tests are not limited to raw speed alone; Ookla’s performance scores also weigh in overall quality of experience (QoE), giving a broader picture of how users actually experience internet services day to day.
The findings once again highlight the competition among Pakistan’s major mobile operators, placing them in order of performance based on speed, reliability, and user satisfaction.
According to the report, these were the best-performing mobile networks in Pakistan during the first half of 2025 a ranking closely watched by consumers and the industry alike as digital connectivity becomes ever more central to everyday life.
