Abu Dhabi, June 25, 2025 — In a ceremony held today in the UAE capital, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, presented the prestigious Hilal-e-Quaid-e-Azam award to His Excellency Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).
The honour was awarded on behalf of the President of Pakistan, in recognition of H.E. Al Suwaidi’s remarkable contributions to strengthening Pakistan-UAE bilateral ties and his consistent support for Pakistan’s economic and development initiatives.
Speaking at the event, Senator Dar highlighted the longstanding partnership between Pakistan and the UAE, and praised ADFD’s role in supporting key development projects across various sectors in Pakistan.
The Hilal-e-Quaid-e-Azam is one of Pakistan’s highest civil awards, conferred upon individuals who have made exceptional contributions to fostering international friendship and cooperation. Today’s recognition of H.E. Al Suwaidi reflects Pakistan’s deep appreciation for the continued support of the UAE in advancing mutual goals.
The event was attended by senior diplomats, government officials, and dignitaries from both countries, symbolizing the enduring friendship and shared vision between Pakistan and the UAE.
