Pakistan and UAE Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthen Strategic Economic Partnership

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates have reaffirmed their mutual commitment to deepening strategic economic cooperation, officials said on Wednesday.

The pledge came during a meeting between Finance and Revenue Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb and UAE Ambassador to Pakistan H.E. Salem M. Salem Al Bawab Al Zaabi in Islamabad.

Speaking at the event, Senator Aurangzeb highlighted Pakistan’s determination to further strengthen its fraternal partnership with the UAE. He acknowledged the UAE’s consistent support across multiple areas, including trade, investment, remittances, government-to-government financing, and backing Pakistan’s engagements with international financial institutions.

Ambassador Al Zaabi emphasized that enhancing bilateral relations, especially in strategic, economic, and cultural spheres, would remain a top priority during his tenure. Both sides expressed optimism that ongoing cooperation would open new avenues for economic growth, trade expansion, and stronger ties between the two nations.
