Only 3,500 Seats Left in Government Hajj Quota

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has confirmed that more than 114,500 applications have so far been submitted under the Government Hajj Scheme 2026, leaving just about 3,500 seats unclaimed.

According to ministry spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt, all nominated banks have been directed to continue accepting applications until the remaining slots are taken. He urged prospective pilgrims to apply at the nearest designated branches without delay.

“The process will be stopped immediately once the last 3,500 seats are filled,” the spokesperson emphasized, reminding applicants that the window is closing rapidly.
