Islamabad – August 8, 2025:
Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has made it unequivocally clear that Pakistan has no intention of recognizing Israel — now or in the future. Emphasizing solidarity with the Palestinian people, he said the entire Islamic world must unite behind their just cause, regardless of political interests or global pressure.
Speaking to reporters in Islamabad, Rana Sanaullah condemned the continued violence against Palestinians, calling it one of the worst forms of oppression in modern history.
“We have seen cruelty in the past, but the way the Palestinian nation continues to resist — with such courage and perseverance — is unparalleled,” he said.
He questioned the role of the international community, stating that apart from issuing hollow statements, the world has done little to ease the suffering of the Palestinian people.
“At the very least, Pakistan should stand firmly with the Palestinians — and whatever their stance may be, we must support it unconditionally,” he added.
Calling on the Muslim world to reassess its priorities, he urged Islamic nations to weigh their positions carefully and stand on the right side of history.
“This is not just a political issue — it’s a matter of humanity, justice, and moral responsibility,” he said.
No Plan to Dismiss KP Government, Clarifies Sanaullah
Rana Sanaullah also addressed speculation surrounding the future of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government, firmly stating that there is currently no plan to impose Governor’s Rule or bring a no-confidence motion against the provincial administration.
“Let me be clear — the federal government has taken no decision to dismantle the KP government,” he stated.
Commenting on PTI’s recent protests and political stance, he urged the party to engage with the system rather than disrupt it.
“Every political party faces difficult times. Both the PPP and PML-N have endured challenges and have always fought their battles from within the system,” he said.
“If PTI wants to contest the system, they should come forward and declare it openly. But democracy works through process, not chaos,” he added.
