Mayor Wahab calls it a milestone for recreational and cultural development in the city
KARACHI – In a bid to blend education with entertainment, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab on Friday inaugurated the “Time Travel Theatre” at the popular Dino Safari Park — a project he believes will not only captivate children’s imaginations but also instill key social and environmental values from a young age.
Addressing attendees at the launch ceremony, Wahab said the initiative aims to offer a unique space where children can learn while being entertained, especially in an age where early learning plays a critical role in shaping young minds.
“If children between the ages of three and five are taught about kindness to animals, the importance of nature, and the need to protect the environment, they are far more likely to grow into responsible and empathetic adults,” Wahab said.
He emphasized that the Time Travel Theatre is not just another entertainment venue, but a significant step forward in enriching Karachi’s cultural and recreational offerings. “This theatre is a gift to our city — a place that inspires joy and curiosity, and delivers meaningful content to families,” he added.
The mayor also underlined the importance of community involvement in civic progress, noting that while the government is working to improve the city, its efforts can only succeed with active public participation. “Only by working together can we ensure the growth of Karachi, which in turn benefits Sindh and Pakistan as a whole,” he remarked.
With its immersive storytelling and imaginative themes, the Time Travel Theatre promises to become a new favorite among families visiting Dino Safari Park — offering not just fun, but a chance for the next generation to learn the values that matter most.
