KARACHI — In a move aimed at simplifying traffic fine management, the Sindh Police have introduced a new online system that allows Karachi residents to check their e-challans instantly, without the need for any mobile app or account registration.
The updated system is designed to make the process faster and more convenient for vehicle owners who are concerned about pending traffic fines. Officials explained that this new tool provides immediate access to challan details in just a few seconds.
What You Need
To check their e-challan, residents only need two pieces of information:
Their vehicle registration number
The name under which the vehicle is registered
No ID card, login credentials, or extra details are required, making it accessible for everyone.
How It Works
Citizens can simply visit the official Sindh Police website and navigate to the Online Public Services section. A dedicated option allows users to enter their vehicle information, and any issued challan will appear immediately. If no challan exists, the system will display a message confirming that there are no pending fines.
Additional Options
While the web-based tool offers instant access, mobile users can still use the e-challan app, currently available for Android devices. The police department also continues to dispatch physical copies of challans to registered addresses.
This new online feature ensures that Karachi residents can now keep track of their traffic fines quickly and efficiently, without relying on apps or lengthy registration processes.
