ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) market has taken a promising turn with the launch of a new budget-friendly electric car priced at just Rs. 1.05 million, making it one of the most affordable EVs available in the country.
Company officials stated that the vehicle has been specifically designed for urban commuting, focusing on low running costs, easy charging, and a compact size suitable for navigating busy city streets.
The new EV offers multiple battery capacities, allowing buyers to select a range that fits their daily travel requirements. Depending on the battery option, the car can cover short- to medium-distance journeys, making it ideal for office commutes, school runs, and routine city travel.
To attract early buyers, the manufacturer has announced a special introductory offer, requiring only 20% of the invoice value as a booking amount, while deliveries are expected within approximately 90 days. Production is already underway to meet anticipated demand.
Auto analysts believe that this affordable launch could significantly encourage EV adoption in Pakistan, especially at a time when fuel prices are steadily increasing. With its low price, simple design, and user-friendly charging, the new electric car is being seen as a key step toward cleaner, more practical urban transportation.
