NEW YORK — Pop star Pink turned an unpleasant experience into a moment of humor and resilience. She shared a photo of herself getting an intravenous vitamin drip with the caption:
“Ahhh life and lemons and lemonade and great memories that I might remember.”
On the photo itself, she explained what happened:
“When you go on vacation and have food and E. coli decides to move into your gut, you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine. And a vitamin IV concoction.”
The singer didn’t reveal where she had been traveling or how exactly she contracted the foodborne illness, but she had certainly earned a break. Pink had only just wrapped up her massive Summer Carnival Tour, which included 131 shows across 15 countries.
