After an impressive start to their U-19 Volleyball World Championship campaign, Pakistan is set to take on host nation Uzbekistan in their second match today.
In their opening game, Pakistan stunned seventh-ranked Belgium with a dominant 3-0 victory. Ranked 19th in the world junior rankings, Pakistan outplayed Belgium in every aspect of the game during the match held in Tashkent.
They sealed the win with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, and 25-22. Saud and team captain Yahya stood out with strong performances for the green shirts.
Pakistan now looks to continue its momentum against Uzbekistan in today’s clash.
