ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is set to roll out its Mobile Registration Drive in the United Kingdom this week, aiming to provide easier access to essential identification services for overseas Pakistanis.
The mobile teams will be available on August 30, 2025, at two locations: Blackburn (Manchester) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Google Maps link) and Sheffield (Bradford) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Google Maps link).
According to NADRA officials, the initiative is designed to help overseas residents renew their Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs), apply for National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOPs), and obtain Family Registration Certificates (FRCs) without having to visit consulates or travel long distances.
Applicants are advised to bring their old CNICs or B-Forms to speed up the process. Dedicated female staff and separate counters will also be available at both venues to ensure a comfortable environment for women.
In addition, NADRA has encouraged Pakistanis abroad to make use of its Pak ID mobile application, which allows users to renew CNICs, register births and marriages, and even apply for government jobs online.
For more details, applicants can visit NADRA’s official website (www.nadra.gov.pk), follow updates on its WhatsApp Channel (link), or file complaints at the online complaint portal (link).
This latest mobile drive follows successful events earlier in August in Banbury and Brierfield, where large numbers of overseas Pakistanis availed NADRA’s services.
Back home, the authority has also introduced modern one-window service centres at union councils in Pasroor (Sialkot), Mandi Faizabad, and Nankana Sahib, bringing identity and registration facilities closer to rural communities. Citizens there can now obtain CNICs, B-Forms, family certificates, and make updates such as changes in marital status directly at their local councils.
With both domestic and overseas initiatives, NADRA says it is working to ensure that Pakistanis, no matter where they live, have quick and reliable access to identity documentation.
