Final Chance Announced for First-Year College Admissions in Karachi

Authorities in Karachi have opened a final window for students who were unable to secure admission in the first year, offering what officials describe as the last opportunity for the current academic session.

According to the latest update, students can submit their applications until November 23, but admissions will be processed strictly against the limited vacant seats available across government colleges.

Professor Naveed Al-Rab, Chairman of the Centralized College Admission Program (CCCAP), emphasized that applicants should not insist on securing a seat in a specific college, as placements will only be made where seats remain empty. He advised students to obtain prior clearance from their respective education boards to avoid delays in the verification process.

So far, more than 115,000 students have been enrolled in various colleges across the city. Professor Naveed noted that the regular admission phase has already concluded, and this last round aims to facilitate the remaining students who could not be placed earlier.

Calling it a “final chance,” the chairman urged students to make use of the opportunity before the deadline passes.
