ANF Seizes Drugs Worth Over Rs 48 Million in Nationwide Crackdown

Rawalpindi, September 13, 2025 — The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has intensified its ongoing crackdown against drug trafficking across the country, seizing narcotics valued at more than Rs 48 million in a series of operations.

According to an ANF spokesperson, five separate operations were carried out in multiple cities, leading to the arrest of seven suspects and the recovery of around 210 kilograms of narcotics.

In Karachi, ANF teams intercepted a truck near the city’s Sabzi Mandi, where they seized 13 kilograms of crystal meth (ice) and 60 kilograms of hashish. Two suspects were taken into custody at the scene. In another operation on Lahore’s Barki Road, officials apprehended three men riding a motorcycle and recovered one kilogram of heroin and two kilograms of hashish.

Separately, at Sohrab Goth, Karachi, two passengers were caught with two kilograms of heroin and two kilograms of crystal meth in their possession. A major bust was also reported near Turbat, where 104 kilograms of crystal meth were recovered from a vehicle. Meanwhile, in Quetta’s Hazarganji area, ANF teams seized 26 kilograms of crystal meth.

The spokesperson confirmed that cases have been registered under the Narcotics Control Act, and further investigations are underway to identify the networks behind the smuggling operations.
