Police continue manhunt for remaining suspects; weapons recovered during raid
KARACHI – In a disturbing incident that has shocked the Ibrahim Hyderi locality, Karachi police have arrested three men allegedly involved in a brutal gang-rape and armed robbery at a private residence.
The arrests were made during an intelligence-based operation carried out by Ibrahim Hyderi police. The suspects — identified as Adil, Shiraz, and Yasir — were taken into custody, and illegal firearms were also seized from their possession.
According to investigators, the men forcibly entered a house and held the occupants at gunpoint. They reportedly looted gold jewellery, cash, and other valuables before sexually assaulting a woman inside the home.
During initial interrogation, the suspects confessed to the heinous crimes and admitted that they fled the scene immediately after committing the offence. They also disclosed the involvement of two other accomplices who are currently on the run.
Police teams have launched targeted raids in multiple areas to track down the remaining suspects. Authorities have also begun reviewing the criminal records of those arrested to determine whether they have been involved in similar incidents in the past.
The case has sparked outrage in the community, with residents demanding swift justice and increased police presence in the area to ensure public safety.
